Delaware Comedy Theatre Performs Free All Age Comedy Improv Shows at the Rehoboth Bandstand in July & August!
PRESS RELEASE
Delaware Comedy Theatre, the Rehoboth Beach-based non-profit improvisational theater group and school, will perform All Age Comedy Improv Shows at the Rehoboth Bandstand, Thursdays in July and August (except for July 16 & August 13th), starting at 8pm. These are interactive shows with several opportunities for kids, teens and adults to get up onstage and perform improv games with the actors!
“We’re so excited to do this series of shows at the Rehoboth Bandstand," says David Warick, Artistic Director of Delaware Comedy Theatre. “We’re especially pleased that we can do all age performances that the whole family can enjoy!"
Delaware Comedy Theatre, formed in Spring 2005, is a non-profit theatre company bringing professional comedy improvisation training and performance to the Lewes, Rehoboth and Dewey Beach areas. "It's always been important for us to fulfill our non-profit mission by giving back to the community. We perform at no charge quite frequently both downstate and upstate." DCT has performed or given workshops at numerous benefits and community events for such organizations as Children's Beach House, Rehoboth Elementary School, PEO, the Wellness Community, the YMCA Swim Club and the Jefferson School. They've also performed to great acclaim at the Philadelphia, Baltimore & North Carolina Comedy Festivals.
