About the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand
The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand is a music and entertainment venue located in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Summer Concert Series takes
place every year from mid-June through August. The bandstand has been providing
FREE entertainment for Rehoboth Beach and its visitors
since 1963. Each year over 50 bands are selected to perform in an open-air
concert venue. The goal of the venue is to provide entertainment through
music, movies, variety acts, and other local, regional, and national
performances.
Set lengths usually run from 75-90 minutes, all beginning at 8pm,
Thursday-Sunday. Almost all music genres are allowed, however material
must be of a family-friendly nature (i.e., lyrics must be clean). All concerts
are sponsored by the
City of Rehoboth Beach or individual sponsors. To qualify for a

| Welcome to Our 50th Year! | Tue, 7 May 2013 |  We are very proud to announce that the 2013 Summer Concert Series has now been posted! Not only are we expecting another wonderful year of FREE entertainment at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand, however this year marks the 50th Anniversary of our wonderful concert venue! There are many new acts to speak of and many popular acts returning to our stage. As you make your vacation plans this year, or even if you plan on exploring the town as a local, we encourage you to check out our FREE entertainment! As one of the east coast's oldest bandstands, our venue is both unique and picturesque.
Begun as a concept in 1963, William Hayes wanted to showcase local musical performances. Throughout the years, the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand has evolved to a nationally recognized bandstand venue with acts ranging from our local area to international showcases!
